Visual Snow.

From time to time, when I stand up too quick, or exert myself quickly in some way, I feel my heart beat oddly and all of a sudden I see weird sparkly things fly everywhere. The first time it happened to me, I thought a bunch of gnats came into the room. I tried shooing them away, but then I realized that it was my eyes.

Turns out I experience visual snow. I'm not really sure how I feel about this.

It's kind of beautiful when I see it, but I also feel like I'm about to faint when it happens. It's a really odd occurrence. Wikipedia says migraine sufferers get it, but I never get migraines, or even headaches really. Anyone else have this happen to them?

A friend of mine sometimes randomly sees light patterns all over surfaces, but no other physiological effects of dizziness, etc.

Sometimes when I walk for a while and I feel a little tired, surfaces of things get really static-ey and warp-ey, like I'm coming up on acid or something.

How are you?

Also, have I already told you about the band Beirut? They are amazing (especially live).

Yeah, I've been listening to Beirut for a while now... Since Lon Gisland came out.

And I'm good-- very good.

Yeah, I don't think we're experiencing the same thing. But it is still very interesting. How are you?
