I love Juno so much. The soundtrack's so fucking good. It makes me really want to wear sweater vests.

At least 4 people in the last 2 days have told me I am like Juno. Score.

So like. I was going to take sculpture and everything... but after the first class, I realized that my mind doesn't work like a sculptor's... it works like an illustrator's. The teacher was showing us 'monument' scultpures... but jesus christ. He was showing us like... drawings... and a really awesome throne and some car doors and found objects etc... They were all really awesome, but the drawings were drawings. I don't see how it's sculpture. I know I should be like... thinking outside of the box and all... but I just can't get to that level where you think that abstractly. I just don't care enough, or I can't bullshit like that. Things that he was calling sculpture were drawings and performance art and found objects... They were made with hands, yes, but I don't know if the term 'sculpture' can be attached to those pieces of art. Maybe there should be a whole new art term; like some branch of sculpture without the sculpting.

So, I decided I was unhappy with my first choice, I decided that my teacher would probably be unhappy with whatever I did in that class, dropped the class, and am now taking vocal performance for non-music majors. Hurrah. I really really enjoy singing and am super excited for this class. Plus, it'll be a nice break from all of the visual art nonsense. Breath of fresh air.
