Hello there, world.

It's been ages since I've blogged last, I know.
I've been busy and the fact that we still don't have a stable internet doesn't help.
Notable things that have happened:
1. I helped save a dog.
2. I am Pita master.
3. We are almost entirely unpacked and moved in. We have to get the washer/drier situated and maybe unpack like... one box. It's pretty righteous.
4. We were almost accused of gas theft because we didn't get our gas switched over yet. It was kind of scary, but the guy who came to turn our gas off was nice and didn't charge us. He said he has a son in college and so he was very understandable.
5. Jason invited me to go with him and Khyber to Canada in August. I think I might be able to do it if I save enough money. I think it'll be like... 80-100 dollars for the trip because Khyber's Grandmother lives in Canada and we'd be staying at her bed and breakfast for free. We'll see what happens. I'm not really one to pass up an opportunity to travel (see: NYC trip).
6. Holy shit-- I just got an IM from a person making an official site for Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series. Art of mine might be used :).
7. I'm never drinking or doing drugs again. I had one of the most fun but also one of the worst experiences of my life the other day. My head's been hurting all day. I've seen things that I could never have imagined, I've lived through a part of myself that I thought that I had lost when I was young, but I also now know what it's like to actually be insane and to question reality and to wonder how close I can get to death. I don't think I was too close, but fainting isn't something I do all of the time. Granted, alcohol/drugs weren't the cause, but my mental state was seriously fucked for a bit. Luckily it made me realize how much my friends and family really care for me, how much I really care for them, and it also gave me a new perspective on the lives of people in asylums. Also my sister-- I can truly begin to understand her now... and I understand my father and my mother a little more too. I don't want shit like this to be some big part of my life. It will always have an allure, but I know it'll only lead to failure and insanity. I will avoid it forever.
