So far Christmas is turning out to be really good. Yesterday I baked gingerbread cookies with Lauren Monaco, as well as played DDR and went to Dish it Out to paint a gift for a friend WITH my friend Arielle, and then also to shop more... Today, Christmas Eve, is the day we open gifts at my father's house, and tomorrow is when we open presents at my mother's. I've gotten many a good thing such as a coat and a tea strainer and a Bernard's (salon) giftcard and some socks and a Barnes and Nobel giftcard (with which I bought Devilish-- I've already finished it and am content with it. Owen was my favorite, methinks. I still need to read a few other books I already have before I buy anymore, damn it... I have like, 22 dollars left on my card because i bought some Christmas gifts for someone else with it. I am such a giver)... But damn. I got a laptop as well.
A really really nice laptop to boot.
It's a Mac. I'm eeeehhh with Macs, but the graphics are so GOOD. And I also have a super excellent printer to go with it! And it has bluetooth technology so I have wireless internet. Now I can be like them city folk and sit in cafes all day and type and stuff. But I don't have the internet yet.
This is for college by the way-- once I fuckin apply.
Anyhow, Vivi (my dog) was extra excited because she got 4 presents!!! I hear her with one right now. She got a plushie squeaky goose, a peanutbutter filled bones, a rubber jumping jack thing, and a rubber rolly ball thing. She is so happy.
There is still more to come, and apparently my mom is getting something good for me as well. Perhaps a Wii? I shall never know. I'm perfectly content if she didn't get me one because of this laptop. As long as I got one or the other. But yeahhh. I'm tired. And still in anticipation. I feel so materialistic, but honestly that is what you need to be in this sort of world at times... because everyone else is materialistic.
Hmmm.
I love you. Merry Christmas.
