Don't you feel that sometimes you get too caught up in the things around you, simply because you must in order to make society and the people you love happy?
I think the view I have on life is what is making me feel so unmotivated.
I adore Christmas and making other people happy through it.

But honestly these days there is no true meaning behind Christmas. For one, Jesus wasn't even BORN in December-- he was born some time during February. The only reason Christmas is even in December is because when the Christians were converting the Pagans, they wanted to make the conversion easier and so they made Yuletide (a pagan holiday which occurs on the 21st) into Christmas (which occurs on the 25th). God damn. This is why I don't like organized religion. They don't make sense to me. They're flimsy. Like people's minds.

But yeah, Christmas is no longer a spiritual holiday. It is a making people happy by giving them stuff holiday. And it is a holiday for the economy. But not anything for understanding your inner self, unless if you are visited by the 3 ghosts of christmas.

I am super ridiculous. UMMMM. Carrots. Bags. Bunnies. Illustrrration!
And shopping for gingerbread items and putting up decorations for the very same holiday that i believe carries no real spirituality, even though it sure does have some kind of peppy spirit!
AND YOU KNOW I'M REALLY ALL ABOUT THE PEPPY SPIRIT.

So I read an article today from yesterday's newpaper that basically said the SAME EXACT THING. Also that Sierra Mist's theme song replaces Christ with a cranberry.
