LALALALA. GOOD NEWS EVERYONE.
I went to the Collingswood Art Fest with my lovely doggy, saw some semi-boring paintings. It was a good effort at least. I enjoyed myself, but would have more so if the stuff was better than it was. But yeah. Vivi lurved it. And I visited ym dad at work and smuggled Vivi in there too. I saw Yan (one of my old co-workers). She is doing good.
Afterwards I dropped Vivi off at home and went to the library and basically hit 5 thousand birds with one stone. They had an illustration pricing book in the reference section (I think i talked about it here before) AND STRUCK WITH A BRILLIANT IDEA, I MADE COPIES OF THE PAGES I WANTED. Har har har. Genious I am. So I go back downstairs, forlorn with nothing interesting to read, and hidy-ho, look thar, it's the Georgia Nicolson book that came out not so long ago (And Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers... p.s. I already know there's an even NEWER one out) that I never had the money to buy! I picked that up, popped over to the check out, scan it in and then all of a sudden the library girl person's all like, "Oh wait, hold on."
So she goes into the back, and lo and behold, she has Magic Lessons clutched in her hands! AND IT'S ALL NEW AND BEAUTIFUL. But without a cover. Because it's SO new they had NO TIME to put that funny plastic coating over it to keep it fresh. I yeah. I checked that out too. And there's a little band wrapped around the book stating that the library had to outright purchase it (instead of importing it from a different library) and I was the first to get my grubby little hands on it. Lalalala.
Hooray hooray hooray. I love my library.
Ergh. I have work tonight. Come to P.F. Chang's in Marlton to see me people.
