Not working on much of anything.
Actually, not really having the time to. All I had in my possession lately was my sketchbook.
Well. I went tubing and to MICA and all of that, and then I worked, and then right after THAT I went off into Amish country and got to see cows and Amish people and goats. And now I am here. And during all of those long car rides I got to read 2 books (because in cars, drawing is out of the question). I've heard mixed reviews about it, but yes, I read Twilight. And New Moon.
And I do have agree with how it is cliche.
But I do have to agree that it's emotional.
And I must say that I liked it.
But there were a few times where Bella and Edward would just hold each other in their arms and just ANGST. No action. Just a bunch of, "I love you, I promis you this, this and that."
But when the action did pick up, and the relationships did develope, and you learn some of the backstory, it was enjoyable.
I've read vampire novels before, like Anne Rice, so it was a little nice to see how Stephenie took the vampire idea and ran with it. And werewolves were a plus.
And, in Amishville, I was up at night with no references for anything, and all I had was my sketchbook and I was bored... So I drew some of the Twilight characters. I am only sad because ALL OF MY FUCKING PEOPLE LOOK ALIKE. Fuck. I'll work on that shit though. And Bella looks dangerously like Melissa. But that's actually how I envisioned them both. You you saw them both in color though, you'd be like, "ooooh, yes. I see the differences now!" Like Bella is paler and Melissa has gray eyes and browner hair, and Bella has a chocolate color and brown eyes. Um. Yes. There's more stuff but Natalia's here and I have to wrap it up. So anyhow. Here's only some Twilight characters. Scott, your Uglies fan art will always reign supreme in my world of fanart making. Just wanted to say there. Here we go!
