OKAY SO BASICALLY. My house almost got broken into. Like, 15 minutes ago. Surfing the net, you know. I heard some noises. OH IT MUST BE SOME SQUIRRELS OR CATS. Then some more noises. Ho hum. Bang bang, you know. And then I look over to the back door, where these noises are coming from.
And the doornob is jiggling. And then I hear someone deliberately trying to pick the lock.
And my heart pounts. And I quick get up, summon up my courage and yell,
"AND WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"
And I go over to the door, unlock it, and quick pull it open. And they were gone.

I don't know what they were trying to do, because 1.) My windowblinds were wide open. You can see perfectly into where I'm typing at my computer. 2.) My lights were ON in the basement where they were trying to break in.

So either they were very, very stupid... or maybe they thought I was alone in the house because there was only one car in the driveway and my dad was upstairs. Which could have been a much scarier thing. I'm actually pretty disturbed right now. I don't feel safe. What if it was really someone trying to get in-- to get in to get me? Now I jump at every noise. I am very scared. I thought I heard it just again. Ohmygodohmygodddd

Woah, that's completely freaky! I don't know if it was the best idea to open the door after yelling, but it seemed to work in this case. Hope you get less jumpy... I hate that feeling. Good luck sketching!

Yeah, I yelled to wake him up initially, and then I ran upstairs and told him.
