May you always be remembered.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Edit:
I didn't want to make a whole nother post because it would be annoying. But I just would like to say that if you requested art from me, I don't know if I'll be able to get it done. Aside from a few pieces of fanart that I'm going to do, all of my energy is going to be put towards my illustration class and building up my portfolio, which I desperately need to do by September or November or something. Anyhow, it's sometime close and I need to do 7-10 more things. And they need to be proper pieces of work. Not like the sketches you usually see on here. Things like charcoal, graphite drawings, watercolor, oil, pastels, pen and ink, colored pencil... Finished and polished and good.
So I'm going to list what I need to do here, to keep myself motivated.
Figure Drawing. Quite possibly one of the most important.
Still Life. Most BORING.
Landscape. I love trees and things, so it won't be too bad.
Up to date Self Portrait. I already have an idea in my mind. I series of 4 small oil painted expressions, assembled like that of Andy Warhol's famous paintings, not using the same style though
Portraits in general.
I have a few things already. My old self-portait, a figure painting, a still life of a tulip, a watercolor illustration that was assigned in art class (it has old people climbing into a mortar and pestle and then climbing out all young and vibrant. I really like it). It's funny, because after I did that assignment, it was like I rediscovered my watercoloring abilities again. It's actually slightly a disappointment that I didn't rediscover them earlier when I was doing Scott's painting. But yeah. High-five to my pop-pop's natural watercoloring genes.
Time to get dressed for work.
