You have no idea how good about art I am feeling lately. Inspired, but not, you know? I'm just very comfortable with it. I just got back from another drawing session at Barnes and Noble. It is almost the perfect place to sketch people. They're all reading, or involved in conversation, unaware of all my staring. The only problem is that it's hard to get a front view of someone. I'm afraid they'll know and get upset at my staring or something. Oh well. Also I can't draw anyone standing. They walk away as soon as I begin. Or they move around too much. But yeah. I was also drawing at 4 in the morning last night. Months and months ago I had a dream about a teenage boy somehow turned into a lion. It was weird, because first I saw him as a boy, and when he became the lion, I became him and saw his perspective. Somehow we-- or I-- was on the bleachers at school, roaring at people and scaring them off. And then I had to hide under them for some reason, and there was an old yellow lab who also was once a man, and we talked, and he told me the only way to be a human again was by using some crazy pink slip of paper.

I really like that idea. A boy turning into a lion. It's probably done before, but yeah. I have a sketch page of him and all his lion-ness. The lion page I did before was also because of this dream.






I like the old man at the very bottom. He was fun to draw.
